In the last couple or years, there has been a big hype around crystals, energy work and metaphysics all over the world, which, i have to admit, i am glad it's happening, and glad that our beloved human race is slowly awakening, in little steps, and acknowledging the inner power we all have.
Between all the sudden collective interest in metaphysical practices, there is one phenomenon that i am addressing today in these writings, a concept that many of you have heard about: THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.
I've had many readings, from many websites, blogs and books, all having the "key" to effortlessly manifest whatever you want in your life: Money, a new big home, a new job, the partner you always dreamed of...the list can go on!
This "new age" concept of the Law of Attraction, has a much deeper root that needs to be understood for people to really be able to genuinely and consciously manifest, roots of understanding that not many people are aware of about the underlying laws that governs the universe.
I am trying to keep my blog entries short reading, so i won't be getting into all the details, but i am sure letting you know some mayor keywords, for you to research, at your own convenience.
WHAT IS " THE LAW OF ATTRACTION " ?
The Law Of Attraction is one of many names given to our ability to manifest our thoughts into the 3D reality. Actually, when i say one of many names, it's because this concept is based on the Metaphysical studies of the Hermeticism and the Principles of the Universe.
The universe is govern by natural laws, and when we take the time to understand these laws, we can sure use them, and use their knowledge to live better lives.
The Gnostic tradition that studies this universal laws, is called Hermeticism, name given due to the Great Mystic: Hermes Mercurius Trismegistus.
THE HERMETIC PRINCIPLES OF THE UNIVERSE
The Hermetic Laws, or Principles are seven:
1- The Principle of Mentalism.
“The all is mind; the universe is mental.”
2- The Principle of Correspondence
“As above, so below, as below, so above. As within, so without, as without, so within.”
3- The Principle of Vibration
“Nothing rests. Everything moves. Everything vibrates.”
4- The Principle of Polarity
“Everything is dual, everything has poles and everything has its pair of opposites. Like and unlike are the same. Opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree. Extremes meet. All truths, are but half-truths. All paradoxes may be reconciled.”
5- The Principle of Rhythm
“Everything flows, out and in. Everything has its tides. All things rise and fall.”
6- The Principle of Cause and Effect
“Every cause has its effect. Every effect has its cause.”
7- The Principle of Gender
“Gender is in everything. Everything has its masculine and feminine principles.”
There is no possible way for a person to consciously and genuinely Manifest at its will without a proper study of this Metaphysical Laws. Many can sure repeat what others tell them to, with or without having results, but to genuinely manifest you need to handle very well these concepts, to fully understand WHY some people get results and some doesn't.
First: It is not easy: No easy shortcuts, no "effortlessly" way of doing it. You have to dedicate time to study and understand how it works to make it work. Your ability to manifest and precipitate your manifestation depends only on your understanding of the Hermetic Laws.
In this entry, i will focus specifically on the Great Third Hermetic Principle: THE PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION, because this is the foundation of attracting to your life your desires.
THE PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION
This Principle teaches that "Nothing rests. Everything moves. Everything vibrates." It explains that matter, energy, and even spirit, are simply varying rates of vibration, something that modern science has already proven too, at some degree.
But the Hermetic Teachings go much further than do those of modern science. They teach that all manifestation of thought, emotion, reason, will or desire, or any mental state or condition, are accompanied by vibrations. Every result you get in your life, everything that you achieve, or fail to achieve, the way you are living, the situations you experiencing, are because of your vibration.
By a knowledge of the Principle of Vibration, and understanding that every thought, emotion or mental state has its own corresponding vibration, one may polarize his mind at any degree he wishes, thus, gaining a perfect control over his mental states, moods and even, with proper practice, be able to do Mental Transmutation and Manifestation, one of the branches of the Hermetic Arts.
The "Law of Attraction" is only the byproduct of understanding and working with the Laws of the Universe, starting with The Principle Of Vibration.
Vibrate your thoughts, feelings, words and actions into what you seek. Tune up your vibration and align yourself with your desires. Only then the "Law of Attraction" will start working.
